St George’s Day parade

The popular March St George’s Fayre will be held on Sunday April 21 and this year there will be a community parade as part of the opening ceremony.

The parade will start from the March Community Centre at Station Road, at 10.45am and parade through Broad Street, stopping at the Market Place where the Mayor will officially open the event and then onto the High Street stopping near St Peter’s Church.

The organisers hoping that many of the event performers will form part of the parade, however if you have a group which would like to take part, then get in touch with either Katherine Nightingale, katherine@fenlandarts.org.uk or Gavin Philpott, gavin@stonecross.org.uk

The theme of the parade will be Diversity.
