A busy weekend is in store for March when the annual summer festival kicks off.
West End Park will be alive with a gala, gigs and much more.
Rock in the Park starts off the festival on Friday when the line-up includes: Dispossession, Kaine, Stringfinger and Exist Immortal. The event starts at 7pm.
March Lions Gala takes place on Saturday, which includes stalls.
A parade of classic vehicles and decorated floats leaves the City Road car park at 12.30pm to make its way to West End Park.
Attractions following the grand opening at 1.45pm include Luke Dickinson’s Dance Mania, March Bears RUFC, Frivolity and Lee Enstone
Pop in the Park starts from 4.30pm and the line-up includes Scooted n Booted, John Preston Tribute Band, Whiskey Twist. Headliners are Aladdinsane – a David Bowie tribute band.
Picnic in the Park, on Sunday, offers a chance for families to wind down.
Starting from 12.30pm, performances will be given by Chatteris Town Band, MADAOS, Ivan Garford’s Hell Fire Club and Cat in the Mangle.
Fenland Youth Swing Band will be drawing the festival to a close from 7.30pm.
A dog show will be held in the park from noon on Sunday.
The child and family arena will offer colouring competitons and face painting from 1pm.
Adrian Ley will be giving a circus skills workshop while a World War Two commemoration display is also part of the event.
Fairgrounds will be set up on the park throughout the festival.
