THE life-saving East Anglian Air Ambulance has been given a £366 boost from a local business and its customers.

The family-run Tall Trees Leisure Park at Gull Road in Guyhirn held a charity raffle and had a free Saturday entertainment event with a singer.

The event was supported by customers and it was decided to give the money to the air ambulance because it does save lives, particularly in rural areas like Fenland.

Mary Dunn, local deputy fundraising manager, collected the cheque on
behalf of the air ambulance, which relies soley on donations and public support.

Tall Trees Leisure Park is run by the Fryett family
of Colin and Margaret, Andrew and Stephen.

Stephen said thanks to everyone for their support for the event and explained why the air ambulance was chosen for help because it is such a good cause.
