JORDANS Property Marketing and Management have reported a phenomenal start to the year with the number of properties let in the first two months of 2012 up by 67 percent for the same period in

2011.

General Manager Wendy Ferguson said: “We have noticed the surge in demand for good quality rental property in Wisbech, especially in the town centre since Christmas.”

“While this is great news for private landlords in the Fenland area, there still remains a shortage of property and more referenced tenants than we can house.”

Jordans have also noticed a shift in the demographic and requirements of tenants over recent months.

“More and more tenants are from professional backgrounds that have chosen to come out of the homeowner market and are renting due to work commitments and job mobility,” said Wendy.

The team at Jordans welcomes contact from any potential landlords needing advice and guidance on renting out their property.

Jordans particularly specialise in offering support and assistance to first time landlords on the pitfalls to avoid and how to maximise income out of their investment property.

Jordans can be contacted at their offices at 4 South Brink, Wisbech, or call 01945-588622.
