Take on the Thames Path Challenge and raise funds for local disability charity

Charity Papworth Trust is searching for people to take part in an exciting endurance walk along the Thames Path National Trail.

The Thames Path Challenge, which will be held on 14 and 15 September 2013, is a testing sponsored walk or run following the scenic River Thames.

Participants can choose between a 100km route from Putney Bridge to Henley on Thames, or a 50km route from Putney Bridge to Runnymede or Runnymede to Henley on Thames.

“If you are looking for a new fundraising activity, team away day or just want something to aim for, then the Thames Path Challenge is the perfect event,” said Annette Angell, Fundraising Manager at Papworth Trust.

“Not only is it a great challenge, but the money you raise for Papworth Trust will go towards supporting disabled people and their families in your community”.

“You can sign up with a team of friends or colleagues, or do it as an individual and meet fellow trekkers on the day. Whatever you choose, Papworth Trust’s experienced fundraising team will be on hand to support you every step of the way.”

Registration fees are £60 for the 50km challenge, which has a fundraising target of £275. Or it costs £85 to register for the 100km challenge, which has a fundraising target of £400.
