A group of friends have raised more than £1,500 for Help for Heroes after successfully doing a skydive at the North London Parachute Centre in Wimblington.

Kimberley Peachey, from March, organised the jump and was joined by her dad Mark Peachey, Matthew Clark from Wisbech, Matthew Warden from Wisbech and Ashley Anderson from March.

They were originally due to jump on September 11, 2011, but it was called off many times due to bad weather. But they finally made the jump on Remembrance Sunday, November 11.

They raised £1,500, before Gift Aid, and are planning to repeat the jump next year to raise money for the Royal British Legion. They thanked everyone at the centre and all those who supported them.
