A MARCH woman has thanked a Good Samaritan who came to her aid following a car accident.
Becky Fisher (41) was a passenger in a car involved in a collision with another vehicle at the Weasenham Lane junction of Cromwell Road, Wisbech, on January 2, at just before 9pm.
Becky, who was on her way to work with a friend, suffered a severe whiplash injury in the accident.
She said: “When we crashed I saw all this white stuff – which I now know came from the airbag – but I thought it was smoke. I thought the car was on fire. I got out of the car and passed out.
“I didn’t see this woman come over to me, but she stayed with me until I left in the ambulance. She was in her nightclothes. She must have been freezing.”
Becky said the woman stayed with her until the ambulance took her to hospital.
