Police are appealing for witnesses after a two vehicle collision on the A47.
Emergency services were called to the A47 near the Guyhirn roundabout at about 9pm last night (Monday) to reports of a collision between a silver BMW and a black Nissan Almera.
One man was freed from the BMW by the fire service and was taken by air ambulance to Peterborough City Hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Nissan Almera suffered minor injuries.
The road was closed until just before 11.30pm while the vehicles were recovered.
PC Matt Smart said: “I would appeal to anyone who saw the collision or either vehicle prior to it, to call police.”
Anyone with any information should call PC Smart on 101.
