There was festive fun this weekend as churches held their annual Christmas tree festivals.
St Peter’s Church in March and St Augustine’s in Wisbech were both filled to the brim with trees decked out in festive finery.
St Augustine’s had the theme of ‘Christmas songs’ and to add that extra Christmassy feeling, The Bellfolk, a popular group of campanologists, performed a concert on Saturday evening.
And the ever-popular tombola, run by the sewing group, helped to raise even more money for the church.
At St Peter’s, dozens of decorated trees filled the church to help raise funds for the church roof.
The festival ended with the family Christingle service on Sunday.
Westwood Junior School was proud to have their tree picked as one of the winners at the St Peter’s Christmas tree festival.
