TODAY (Friday) saw the start of the Upwell Methodist Church Flower and Music Festival.
The event began with a beautiful display of flowers in the church all depicting something musical and continues with a disco this evening for the junior church and Girls’ Brigade.
Saturday starts with a craft fair and music workshops for the children. Lunches will then be served and live music will be played well into the afternoon. In the evening a ‘Upwell’s Got Talent’ contest will be held with a buffet supper.
Sunday will have a service conducted by the Rev David Ely, a Palm Sunday lunch and Musical Magic with James Trundle on organ and piano in the afternoon followed by tea and cake.
