Fenland threw open its doors last week to share the area’s heritage.
Heritage Open Day events were held across Fenland from Thursday until Sunday.
They proved extremely popular and hordes of people took the opportunity to learn more about the area by looking behind the scenes at buildings from museums to churches, visiting exhibitions, taking part in specially-arranged walks and tours and enjoying other Heritage Open Day events.
The four-day programme kicked off with church tours and a heritage display in March, plus the chance to visit Wisbech Council Chamber, the Angles Theatre and Fenland and West Norfolk Aviation Museum.
It also featured a photographic exhibition in Chatteris, guided walks in March, atthe Rings End Nature Reserve and an orchard in Wisbech – plus other events in Wisbech, March, Walsoken, Guyhirn and Leverington.
