RESIDENTS of Benwick, near Chatteris, are invited to air their views at a neighbourhood forum.
Members of the district policing teams will be available at the event on Tuesday (October 2) to answer questions and respond to any concerns.
The Fenland Community Safety Partnership Crimebuster bus will be in the village from noon to 8pm, giving residents the opportunity to speak to police and partner agencies.
PCSO Mohammed Ali is likely to be joined by representatives from both district and county councils who can discuss community issues.
Members of the public will be invited to complete a short questionnaire, the results of which will be used to identify community concerns and influence the multi-agency response.
PCSOs have also been conducting community surveys in Wimblington, Doddington and Benwick, focusing on schools, post offices and shops.
Sergeant Alan Boughen said: “This is an excellent opportunity for people to come and meet their local policing team and also raise any issues or concerns they have about their neighbourhood.
“We are seeking to get a wide cross section of opinions from people so officers will also be out and about in the villages of Benwick, Wimblington and Doddington in the lead up to the forum talking to people. This is the public’s chance to speak to us in an informal way and we will listen to all their views and take action with partner agencies if necessary.”
Those unable to attend can also complete an engagement form by visiting web page: http://whittlesey.shapeyourplace.org/files/2012/09/fenland.doc and returning the form to firstname.lastname@example.org
