If one of your New Year’s Resolutions is to help others, then the Wisbech-based Volunteer Centre Fenland is waiting to hear from you.

The centre can put people in touch with many organisations looking for volunteers. Most are for over people aged over 18 and some of the help needed is: fundraising, car drivers, people who can sew or knit, Wisbech and March Credit unions need book keeper help, befrienders are needed along with translators, community navigators, committee members, school governors, kitchen assistant volunteers, people with a knowledge of IT, local clubs and groups need help and the prison visitors’ centre needs volunteers. These are just some of the opportunities.

All the opportunities available can be found on the website: www.do-it.org.uk. Please complete all sections on the form.

You can also email: office@fenlandvc.org.uk to find out more.

The centre, which is based at the Rosmini Centre, is now closed for Christmas until January 6 but Annette and Sue look forward to hearing from potential volunteers in the New Year. Call 01945-582192.
