“Grot spots” in Chatteris were given a spring clean thanks to 10 volunteers.

Members and friends of Chatteris in Bloom collected eight full bags of rubbish after clearing litter from three areas of the town.

Treasurer Reg Tibbetts said the event had been organised as part of a Keep Britain Tidy campaign.
He said: “We tackled three grot spots where litter tends to accumulate. It was very successful.”
The committee organises a litter pick on the first Saturday of each month.
