AN Elm woman who set up a children’s cancer charity has been short listed for a national competition and needs your votes.
Linza Corp, who founded Families Against Neuroblastoma (FAN), is the East of England finalist in the Motors.co.uk ‘Most Deserving’ competition, putting her in the running for £10,000 towards a used car and a £2,500 donation to FAN.
She was put forward by friends who have benefited from FAN, which gives help and support to families affected by aggressive childhood cancer neuroblastoma. It also runs fundraising appeals for children who travel overseas to receive treatment not given in the UK.
Linza said having a reliable vehicle would make a big difference to their family.
With seven children, two of who have disabilities, Linza has regular trips to Great Ormond Street Hospital in London and travels all around the country in her charity work.
The donation to FAN would also be greatly appreciated and would go towards FANClub outings for neuroblastoma children and their families.
You can vote as many times as you like to support your nominee/region and you are encouraged to spread the word.
The three nominees with the highest number of votes will then be judged on merit by the Motors Most Deserving Panel to choose a winner.
