March Rotary Club has presented the town with a new piece of life-saving equipment.
Money for the Zoll Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Plus, which will be located at the Conservative Club in Creek Road, was raised through people of March and it will be for the community.
The AED was presented to Stephen Bradshaw the Conservative Club Committee Chairman by Johnny Dee BBC Radio Cambridgeshire’s presenter and roving reporter who was the Rotary Club’s guest speaker/entertainer at their recent meeting.
Following the presentation Johnny Dee was formally introduced to the Club by Rotarian Robert Freeman.
Johnny, who has worked for the BBC for 13 years, talked about his role as a reporter with Radio Cambridgeshire.
Rotarian Mike Enderby thanked Johnny for a thoroughly entertaining evening.
