Saturday, August 15

• Frolic (Friends of the library in Chatteris) summer fundraiser at Chatteris Library, starting at 10.30am. Fantastic cottage garden plant sale, plus refreshments, white elephant stall and much more. Come along and help the library.

Friends of Chatteris Library will outline new improvements to the site along with raising money, from 10am.

• Archaeologists Francis Pryor and Maisie Taylor will be at Fossils Galore, High Street, March, 10am-5pm.

• VJ Day war memorial services: West Walton at 10am, Walpole St Andrew at 10.45 am and Walpole St Peter at 11.15am.

• Freddie & Friends New Orleans Jazzmen, March Town Council summer concerts, West End Park, 2-4pm.

Monday, August 17

• Summer craft event, March Library. Help to make a seaside collage to display in the Library. Then, design and make a postcard to take home with you, 10am-noon, £1 per child. Places are limited, so please hurry and get your ticket from the Library counter. Parents/carers must stay with their children at all times.

Tuesday, August 18

• Poetry and Chat

Lightweight poetry, Wisbech Library, mingled with some laughs and chatter,

Nothing heavy – try us if you’re partial to a rhyme and natter.
