You can ‘spend a little and live a lot’ thanks to this Citizen competition to celebrate the opening of Aldi’s new Chatteris store.
The company is giving one lucky Citizen reader the chance to win £200 worth of vouchers to spend in the store, which opened earlier this month.
The store, located on Bridge Street at the old Co-op site, was officially opened by Team GB archer Bradley Denny and store manager Vicky Jones.
More than 130 shoppers had flocked to the store for the event, hoping to be in with a chance of winning one of Aldi’s golden ticket prizes.
A queue of bargain hunters had arrived hours in advance of the store’s 8am opening time, braving the cold weather, in the hope of getting their hands on a television, tablet, camera or some free bags of shopping.
The store created 35 jobs for the local community and Aldi is still recruiting from the surrounding area for a variety of roles.
Taking six months to build, the store is served by 140 car parking spaces and features around 1,500 product lines.
“Customers can expect a wide range of high quality and locally sourced products,” said Ms Jones.
The store is open Monday to Saturday from 8am to 10pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm.
To be in with a chance of winning the £200 worth of vouchers, to spend on whatever you like in store, simply answer the following question:
