THE newly renovated Rose and Crown Hotel in Wisbech is open for business and two Citizen readers are being given the chance to try its restaurant for free.

The hotel, situated in Wisbech’s Market Place, re-opened just a few weeks ago after more than a year of extensive refurbishment.
Top chef Tony Love is in charge of the kitchen, aided by local sous chef Dominic Davallou.
Mr Love has worked at some of London’s most eminent hotels, from The Savoy to The Royal Garden Hotel. He has prepared banquets for visiting ambassadors and royalty and was the chef for Margaret Thatcher’s 60th birthday celebrations.
Extensive menus have been put together for the various dining options at the hotel.
Guests can choose from dining casually in the Blue Wisteria, in the bistro setting of Back in Time or the sophisticated surroundings of the Rose Restaurant. Visitors can also take afternoon tea in a variety of settings around the hotel, from the library to the courtyard.
