WISBECH: Air ambulance called for woman suffering seizure

The air ambulance was called out at lunchtime today (Thursday) to a woman in Wisbech who suffered a seizure.

The Magpas Helimedix, with doctor Rob Major and volunteer paramedic Phil Almond, arrived at a residential address at 1.30pm.

An EEAST Ambulance Crew requested their assistance, after a woman in her 40s suffered a seizure.

The Magpas team anaesthetised the patient before accompanying her to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Kings Lynn, in a land ambulance. On arrival at the hospital, the woman was in a stable condition.

The Helicopter team who flew the Helimedix to the scene was pilot Richard Eastwood and crew member Rick Hill.
