Ale-lovers from across the country will be descending on Wisbech from tomorrow with the return of a popular three-day beer festival.
Elgood’s Brewery is expecting hundreds of visitors through the doors when its annual beer festival is held from tomorrow until Saturday.
The event, which is held in conjunction with SIBA East (Society of Independent Brewers), will see more than 150 different beers on offer from brewers across the eastern region, including many of Elgood’s own award-winning brews.
Entertainment will be provided by Dr Busker on Thursday night and the renowned local rock/punk band Bewildered will be returning to the festival to play live on both Friday and Saturday night.
An Elgood’s spokesman said the brewery was looking forward to yet another successful festival.
She added: “Before last year’s festival had even finished, visitors were asking for dates for the next one. Well, we could hardly let our public down, so here we go again!
“The event is really popular as people get a chance to meet the people behind the beer.”
The festival will be open from 5pm to 10.30pm tomorrow, from 4pm to 10.30pm on Friday and from noon until 10.30pm on Saturday.
Food will also be available throughout the three days.
Tickets, costing £4 per person, are available to book now or on the door.
The event will be housed within the scenic four-acre gardens of the brewery which incorporate specimen trees, herbaceous borders, a lake, rockery, water features, herb gardens and a maze.
