Shoppers at the Horsefair Shopping Centre in Wisbech will have an opportunity to win some prizes this Valentine’s Day by simply eating chocolate.

The centre has teamed up with the British Heart Foundation and Horsefair centre manager Kevin Smith will be out and about in the centre from 10am on Thursday, 14th February offering shoppers chocolates.

Those who pick a lucky chocolate with a red paper heart inside the wrapper will win a prize. There will be six prizes up for grabs including gifts from Boots, Angel’s Oasis and Card Factory.

Kevin will be joined by the BHF’s Janet Kenworthy who will be collecting donations for the heart charity; the store is also running the national Love Notes campaign where people can declare their love for someone by posting a note in the store’s window for a donation of £1.

Speaking about the Horsefair’s Valentine’s competition, centre manager, Kevin said: “We have run the Valentine’s Day competition for a number of years now and it’s always really popular and great way to raise some cash for a great charity.”
