A Wisbech charity is frying high – thanks to a boost from a town chip shop.

Staff and management at the Jolly Fryer have raised a fantastic £410 for Wisbech Lions funds.
This money will be used to help local people in need.

Customers chipped in to the fundraising by supporting a raffle at the chippie.
Adrian Jarvis, who owns the shop with his brother Stephen, was delighted with the response.
He said: “Customers have been very generous. It was a really good amount.

“Wisbech Lions are a good cause to support.”
