People in Wisbech will be able to access Roddons Housing Association’s services more easily from next Tuesday (4 June) when it opens a brand new office in the town.
An opening ceremony, attended by Roddons Chair of the Board Brenda Reynolds, councillors and local residents, takes place on Monday (3 June) from 9 – 11am at Edinburgh Drive, Wisbech, PE13 3LJ where a ribbon will be cut to mark the event.
Roddons is opening its second base to make it easier for customers who live in Wisbech and the surrounding rural areas to visit their housing office. Previously they would have had to travel to the housing association’s head office in March.
The new premises on Edinburgh Drive will allow for Roddons customers to drop in and access a range of services such as Home Link, which registers people for housing, transfers and exchanges, and Easy Move, which helps people to downsize their property. They will also be able to report any issues regarding rent, repairs and anti-social behaviour directly to their landlord.
Jenny Hodson, Managing Director at Roddons Housing Association, said: “We are extremely proud to be boosting our service to Wisbech residents with the opening of a brand new local office.
“The new office will make it easier for people in the Wisbech area to get access to our services, for example for advice on rents and benefits. We hope this move will make Roddons Housing Association more accessible to our customers in the area, particularly those who may have struggled to get to our March office.”
Office opening hours will be Monday to Friday, 9am - 1pm. Opening hours and services at the head office in March will remain the same.
