A Wisbech road is hoped to be partially re-opened later today (Monday, August 3) after a burst water main.
Anglian Water was called out to the junction of Norwich Road and Wilberforce Road yesterday morning (Sunday, August 2) after a three inch main burst.
The main was repaired yesterday but the junction remains cordoned off.
The firm is hoping to have four way traffic lights in place later this afternoon to partially re-open the road.
A spokesman says the road is hoped to be fully repaired by Wednesday or Thursday.
He said: “We apologise for any disruption caused by this burst water main. The main was repaired fairly quickly but we have to have the road back to the appropriate standard.”
