Wisbech shoplifter jailed

A prolific shoplifter has been jailed for eight weeks after appearing in court yet again.

Mykolas Kantoravicius, 35, of Love Lane, Wisbech, was jailed at King’s Lynn Magistrates’ Court on Thursday after he admitted stealing two bottles of sherry, to the value of £10, from Asda in Wisbech.

He also admitted breaching a 12-month conditional discharge imposed at the same court in January for a further offence of shoplifting.

Magistrates sentenced Kantoravicius to four weeks imprisonment for the theft, and four weeks for the breach of the conditional discharge, to run consecutively.
