Patients at a Wisbech surgery have raised £800 for the charity during a host of coffee mornings.

The North Brink Practice hosted four charity coffee mornings alongside their Saturday flu clinics, in aid of the local MacMillan & Hudson Palliative Care Centre.

Staff also volunteered their time and culinary skills to provide tea, coffee and cake on each Saturday from Saturday September 28 to October 18.

The surgery has presented £700 to Michelle Knight who works at the MacMillan & Hudson Palliative Care Centre as a Clinical Nurse Specialist and helps provide this valuable local service.

The remaining £100 was used to purchase five memory boxes, which will be donated to terminally ill patients of North Brink Practice, who have children of school age,

The North Brink Practice would like to thank those patients who gave so generously during this campaign.
