A WISBECH woman was airlifted to hospital this afternoon (Friday) after being kicked in the head by a horse.
Magpas Helimedix (Doctor James French and Paramedic Dan Cody) flew to Wisbech, in the Magpas Helimedix Air Ambulance, arriving at 2.45pm. A woman in her 40s suffered a head injury after she was kicked by a horse.
The Magpas team assessed the patient and then flew her to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn. On arrival at the hospital, her condition was non-life-threatening.
The helicopter team who flew the Helimedix to the scene and to the hospital was: Pilot Matt Tacon and Air Observer Andy Craigie.
