A WOMAN in Doddington had her life saved yesterday (Tuesday) by a medical team from the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

The 48-year-old woman was at Doddington Medical Centre, in Benwick Road, when she suffered a cardiac arrest.

The air ambulance was called at around noon and was on the scene in 10 minutes, landing in a field opposite the centre.

The medical crew was able to restore the patient’s pulse.

She was then assessed and escorted by the aircraft’s doctor and paramedic team to Huntingdon Hospital in an EEAST road ambulance. Her condition on arrival was stable.
