IT seems to me that there are clubs for just about everyone, except me.
Being retired and a widow I love travel and days out and making like a tourist.
But, and it is a big but, the singles supplements are really expensive and, in quite a lot of instances, do not make the trip worthwhile.
What do other single retired people do? Stay at home and wait for God?
How does one go about finding one/several (more the merrier) travel companions?
I thought of advertising along the lines of ‘retired lady, loves travel, hates paying single supplements, seeks travel companion(s) for holiday trips, days out etc’.
Somehow it does not sound right.
So what do other single people do in this situation?
