Many thanks to you and your team for all the toys you helped collect for this year’s Christmas Toy Appeal. This year we were able to provide 66 Christmas hampers for families and individuals in need. These hampers provided a good Christmas day meal and extras for 209 people.

Of these 98 were adults and 111 were children, who thanks to your hard work, all received on or more toys. The rest of the toys we passed onto Children’s Services as usual. With your help, these local families and individuals were able to have a Christmas Day that far exceeded their expectations. WE know how much it meant to many of them to helped and care for in this way.

Territorial Envoys,

Wisbech Salvation Army

I would like to offer my apologies to the two gentlemen who came to my assistance when I fell over near the doctor’s surgery on the Brink on Monday January 13 for not saying thank you for your assistance and kindness. As I was/have been poorly, I completely forgot my manners. It shows that people in Wisbech do still care. Thank you.

I would like to send a very grateful thank-you to the person who very kindly returned by driving licence through my front door. I was upset at losing the licence and some notes, but the kindness of the person who retuned it, brings promise to this not so pleasing world.
