AFTER the protest meeting on Saturday August 18, at Estover Road playing field in March, a protest to a plan ‘not known’, only thought to be the development of 800 properties, in my opinion.
Regarding the preservation of the playing field (recreation area) which is massive.
Could consideration be given to the sale of two/three acres of the land for approximately 24 houses, which could raise approximately one million pounds?
The sale money could go to the remainder. This would enhance other facilities - football for all ages, tennis and cricket.
As well with any other development in the area, as well as dog walking.
This would make it a diamond in March for all- now and for the future.
