The county sports partnership for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, LIVING SPORT, has over £100,000 available to provide funding support for organisations to help capture young people and adults who were inspired by the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games one year on.

Fifteen Fenland Running Club members took part in the field of 1,557 who completed the Bespak Great East Anglia Run in Kings Lynn on Sunday. In good conditions, if a little warm in the sun, all FRC runners completed the course within the hour. First home was Shane Draper in 38.43. Also under the 40 minute barrier was Richard Hammond in 39.16.
