HARES boss Brett Whaley wants to continue at the helm of March Town next season after steering his side away from the Ridgeons League First Division danger zone.
And Whaley has also issued a plea to his current crop of players to stay at the club for next season to build on the progress they’ve made.

“I’ll be speaking to the board over the next couple of weeks and hopefully after the AGM we can get it sorted,” said Whaley, adding: “I want the lads to stay and build on it and get some more experience in the side.

“Before Saturday, we had only lost one in the last seven and we’ve taken seven points from three games from sides at the top of the table.”

Whaley will also be rooting for the Reserves tomorrow (Thursday) as they look to take the title and win promotion from the Cambs League Bis 1B.

“The key for them is to get promoted and they deserve to win the league,” added Whaley.
