WISBECH Town play Granta Seconds in the final of the Smith Barry Cup at St Ives on Sunday.
Gary Freear’s side have had an easy passge to the final, beating Kimbolton and receiving two other byes.

The two sides met in the Cambs Tucker League last month when Granta won by just 11 runs – after Wisbech let a winning position slip by.

Simon Freear said: “It should be a very good game again, but we will have to see how many of their first teamers play as they do not have a game on Sunday.”

Wisbech themselves will have their resourses stretched on Sunday. Not only do the Firsts have a cup final to play but there is also a Rutland League game against Oundle.

Wisbech wanted to bring that game forward to last weekend when both sides did not have a game, but Oundle would not agree.

Wisbech will now send a young Thirds side to that encounter as the Seconds are also in Fenland Trophy action.
