Wisbech's Darryl Veenendaal (18) came on as replacement in both legs of the Guiness Premiership A League final for Northampton A against Wasps.
The young Rugby star finished on the losing side 34-3 when coming on with 20 minutes to go in the first leg and had 12 minutes on the pitch when Northampton won the return leg 36-25. He is pictured with his runners-up medal.

“Playing with international recognised players such as Robbie Kydd, Stephen Myler, Chris Budgen, Soane Tonga’uiha and Dave Ward was a huge privilege and experience, I was so focused on doing my best and not letting my team mates down," said Veenendaal.
