The North Cambs outdoor bowls finals were dominated this year by bowlers from host club St Lawrence, who were competing in 11 of the 21 finals, winning eight.
Ralph Jackson was in great form for St Lawrence, winning in five of his six finals over the weekend.

Gorefield bowlers also had a successful weekend, competing in eight finals and winning four.

Spectators were treated to some great bowls in very tricky conditions, with intermittent rain on Friday and Saturday and strong winds over the three days.

Thanks go to St Lawrence Bowls Club for hosting the finals and running the barbecue, bar and refreshments and umpires, Colin Griffin, John Fox, Steve Engledow and Cyril Betts.

The presentation to all finalists was held at Mendis on Sunday evening. All the winners will represent North Cambs in the National EBF finals at Skegness between August 19 and 23.
