Long Sutton stalwart Pete steps down

Pete Radeloff has stepped down as chairman of Long Sutton Athletic Football Club after 25 years of service.
He will remain on the committee and was replaced as chairman by Phil Ward at last week’s annual meeting.

Paul Preston was elected as vice chairman, John Preston as secretary and Hayley Watson replaced Janet Radeloff as treasurer after Janet decided to step down after almost a decade of service. Vince Day will remain as president. The club would like to thank Pete and Janet for all their hard work and commitment to them over the years and would like to thank Carmen Cousins for all her hard work as secretary.

The Magpies’ have started training and anyone wishing to join should come along on Tuesday evenings or call Paul Preston at the club on 01406 64473.

Pre-season friendlies have already been arranged against Bourne Town (h) July 11, Ely City Reserves (a) July 21, Fishtoft (h) July 25, Tydd St Mary (h) August 15.
