Emneth Spartans are through to the Coates Cup final after a 9-0 win over Colham United at the weekend.
It took just nine minutes for Spartans to take the lead after some good passing from Conrad Matthews to set up Lyndon Woods and Anthony Melton added a second before Paul Richardson got on the end of Woods’ pass to make it 3-0.

Richardson then got his second after poor defending from Coldham and Woods added his second of the match after a solo run. Then a Woods through-ball sent Richardson to complete his hat-trick to make it 6-0 at half-time.

The second half saw Melton’s corner headed in by Richardson and skipper Darren Brown’s pass then found Woods for him to complete his hat-trick.

James Woods came off the bench and scored the goal of the match.

After around 10 good passes, he cooly went round the keeper to finish it.

Spartans will meet Guyhirn or Terrington in the final.
