NINE runners from Fenland Running Club attended the third race of the Peterborough 5K Grand Prix Series, held at Eye.
First home for Fenland was coach Robin Parker in 17:35 (3rd in age group), followed by new member Robert Howlett (19:52), Rebecca Cousins (19:56; 3rd lady), Richard Dix (20:32), Stuart Sewell (20:48); Maire Irlam (21:09; 1st in age group), Jane Holmes (22:50), Pasquale Ruggerio (23:34) and Jane Greenwood (26:27).

The fourth race is scheduled for July 15 at the hilly Stamford course and the fifth and final race is at Werrington on July 29.

l MARCH AC had six runners taking part in the Sutton Feast Beast 7 mile Race on Sunday. In really warm and humid conditions Frances Cooke was third lady home and first Vet50, for which she received trophies. 94 runners completed the multi-terrain course which is part of the A1 series.

Results: Andrew Larham 45.5, Frances Cooke 52.21, Darren Moat 60.36, Pat Brown 61.36, Keith Saward 63.23, Gena Jackman 68.56.
