Soon after Ben Roberts scored a solo goal and Saints never looked back. Foster Firth added his second just before half time.

A good solid team performance by March.

March restored the lead via Rob Munden but, from another well-taken corner, the Purples levelled again.

In the second-half the Purples were saved more than once by a fantastic goalkeeping display by probably the best keeper in the league.

Both Jonathan De La Bertauche and Mark Hardwick worked tirelessly for the cause, but good teamwork sealed all six points on offer.
The boys would like to thank Michael Brooks for his generous sponsorship.
Heacham U-10 0, Hungate Greens U-10 0

After the break Heacham forced two excellent saves from Greens keeper Alex Lucas. Jared Turner and Luke Plumb had good games.
March Leverets U-10 1, Wisbech St Mary Purples 7
Leverets got off to another bad start which saw them go 3-0 down within the first two minutes.
Purples were 5-0 up at the break, with four from Casey Logan and one from Timmy Magnus.
It was a different story in the second-half as the Leverets pressured Purples much more and looked more like the side that won Division Two last season.
Two more goals came for Logan, but Leverets' first of the season was arguably the best of the game. After good work down the right Tom Whitby was fouled and William Mason stepped up to smash the free kick home.
Nathan Bancroft worked tirelessly in midfield thrughout the game to earn Leverets' M.o.M award.
