Unfortunately the Sensas Challenge League Match was cancelled due to lack of interest for the league this year, so a pair’s match took its place fishing to Sensas Challenge Rules. The match saw Abbi Kendall once again putting in a fine performance to top a small but very competent field of anglers.

High winds and a bright day were far from ideal but Abbi still ran out a comfortable winner fishing the long pole for a net of skimmers and a bonus tench from the St Peters Bridge area for 16lb 12oz.

Pairs result: 1 Martin Roper & Paul Spriggs 18pts, 2 Ray Malle & John Bates 15p.

Individual: 1 Abbi Kendall 16lb 12oz, 2 Martin Roper 16lb 10oz, 3 Joe Roberts 10lb 4oz, 4 Paul Spriggs 9lb, 5 Neil Newby 8lb 14oz. Section Winners by default: A Paul Spriggs 9lb. B: Ray Malle 7lb 9.8oz
