Once again the Old Nene through March attracted a good field of anglers including past and present England team members.

Former World Champion and now March resident Bob Nudd showed once again he has lost none of his star quality finishing third with a net of roach weighing in at 12lb 9oz. He had to give way to one of the up and coming stars, though, Steve Hemmingray who topped the field with a cracking net of roach taken on bread punch from the Nene Parade section, 15lb 6oz. A level 13lb of roach saw Micky Burrow snatch the runner-up spot from the West End Park section.
