THE North Level drain system has not yet reached the form it produced last season, but it still is a consistent performer as recent results have shown.
In the Tuesday match held at Black Dyke Phil Parnell took a respectable 9lb 8oz of small fish all taken on the whip with pinkies to top the field. Barry Stacey came in second with 6lb 2oz followed by Bob Fitzjohn on 5lb 6oz.

King of the Fens
The big King of the Fens series fished round three of the event on the Middle Level Drain, a venue that has been neglected by many clubs and leagues for a very long time.
Although the venue did not fish as well as expected there well plenty of fish showing.
Fishing his first match of the season Rob Johnson topped a strong field taking roach and hybrids on chopped worm and caster to finish with 15lb 15oz.
