Chatteris first team got back to winning ways in CCA Senior 3 on Saturday with a six-wicket win at Dullingham,
Dullingham were put into bat and Joe Menarry claimed a wicket in his first over and Ant Palmer started with three maidens.
But it was yet again the introduction of spinner Dom Platt which put Chatteris firmly on top in this game with superb figures of 4-48 as Dullingham reached 141 all out.
In reply Chatteris lost Connor Cunningham (13) in the third over with the score on 18, but returning brother Kurt (41), who has missed the last three games through holiday, carried on where he left off sharing a good partnership with Alex Platt, who finished unbeaten again on 65, which included 11 fours. Chatteris hit the winning runs inside 33 overs and stay in second place needing just one more win to secure promotion.
On Sunday in the Ernie Wool Cup Chatteris beat Wimblington at home by 46 runs. Chatteris batted first and put on 195 runs, helped by a good 54 by captain Max Kelly, and 34 in 32 balls by Matty Hollis, with Ben Pyle taking 5-24.
Wimblington were all out for 149 with Ashley Irvine 58 and Chris Saunt 30. Menarry, Matty Hollis and Cam Brown all took two wickets each.
