Wisbech Town and March Town Cricket Clubs are urging the community to come down and tidy up before the new season.

Over the next month the 13th annual NatWest CricketForce takes place with 2,014 clubs registered. March, who have signed Australian all-rounder Stephen Shaw for 2014, are revamping the ground between 9am and 4pm on Saturday; Wisbech’s tidy-up is on April 5. March offer free tea and coffee.

Wisbech club chairman Bob Burgess said: “We have some picket fencing that needs to be whitewashed.”

NatWest CricketForce is an ECB project helping cricket clubs renovate and improve their facilities.
