BOTH teams started this League Cup quarter final with exciting end-to-end play before a Holmes shot was parried and Ratcliffe finished. It remained a closely-contested match but in the second half Hungate gained more control as Rudd put them two up.

The Chatteris goal came from a rebounded clearance, which lifted the home side who fought hard to the final whistle.

A good team performance by Hungate who took the lead early on from a good pass by Lauren Cook who found Phoebe Murphy, who scored.

Further goals from Carlie Knight 2 and Annie Wenn 2 made it 5-0 at half-time. Knight 3 and Abbie Venni added to the score. Cook and Eleanor Carr had good games.

UNDER 11 CUP

Estover Girls 2, Sawston Utd 5

Estover played well but they were outplayed by a very strong team. Estover were two goals down and Hana Howsam scored one goal just before halftime to put them back in the game.

In the second half Lauren Hire scored. Player of the match went to Rachel Holland who made some very good saves.
