Appleby hit by £75 fine

WISBECH Town manager Steve Appleby has been fined £75 by the Cambs Football Association for his sending off in the Ely game at the end of December.

Appleby received his marching orders after improper behaviour to the referee Tony Da Costa.

March Town chairman and reserves manager Phil White received a £40 fine for improper behaviour towards the referee Thomas Padmore.

Appleby and White were also warned to their future conduct.

Leverington player James Woods is banned for two games for improper conduct and Wisbech St Mary Youths have been fined £40 for failure to ensure supporters conducted themselves in an orderly fashion.

Parson Drove’s Scott McManus has been banned for three games after receiving a red card for abusive language to a referee in the game against Netherton.

Walsoken’s Bryan Akred is also banned for three matches for violent conduct and the club have been fined £50 and warned to their future conduct regarding decisions and suspensions.
