Wisbech skipper Paul Cousins and Jon Fairweather will return to the squad for tomorrow night’s FA Vase replay against St Ives at Fenland Park after the two sides drew 2-2 on Saturday.

The pair were suspended for the first encounter and manager Steve Appleby said: “It will be good to have them back although it does give me a bit of a headache. Stacy Cartwright has a tight hamstring however I expect him to be fit but I could make changes.

“We created the better chances on Saturday, but St Ives are a good side and we will have to be on our mettle again if we are to progress. We certainly need to be more clinical in front of goal.

“I think we can play a lot more football on a better pitch on Tuesday night. Both sets of fans did their part to create a good atmosphere on Saturday and hopefully we can have another big turnout for the replay and some of the same.”

The winners of the tie will travel to either Bootle or Thackley on Saturday, December 8.
