March Soccer School U10 Girls 1- '1 Milton Colts U10 Girls (March win on PENS) ''A mighty March Soccer 'School Under 10 girls achievement, the 8 young local March girls who 'only began playing together in September competed in an exciting Cup 'Semi Final display. 'The home side found themselves conceding within a 'couple of minutes of the whistle but the strong March defence thwarted 'several further efforts to extend the visitors lead. Livi Goode netted 'home in the second period to equalise and the home side were then in 'control. Difficult weather conditions didnt spoil the footie fun. All 'level at the final whistle and a tense extra time period began. Both 'teams proved equal strength and determination and it was an impressive 'display of young girls football. The eight young local March girls, who only began playing together in September, reached the S-Tech Cambridgeshire League Cup Final.

The home side conceded within a couple of minutes but Livi Goode netted in the second period.

After extra time penalties followed in which Abigail Penaluna in between the sticks was unbeatable.

UNDER 10

March Soccer School Blues 4, Newmarket Town Blues 1

March worked very hard and took the lead through an own goal,while Newmarket equalised before half time with a penalty.

March took control in the second half with a fine finish from Lewis Kent after a superb pass from Samuel Wood. Other strikes from Kent and another own goal.

Reffley 1, Leverington 8

On a wet soggy pitch Reffley took the lead but undefeated Leverington replied from MoM captain Grady Goode’s hat-trick, including a brilliant volley from a corner, Willis Wright, Tristan Jones three and Lucas Savalcius.

UNDER 11

Wisbech St Mary 9,

Paston Flyers 1

St Mary’s continue in great form with a convincing win over a strong Paston side.

They passed well with the whole team working as a unit. Goals come from Joshua Gear and Robert Lee twice followed by man of the match Ben Porter, Zak Lakey, Brandon Ramdharry, Alex Watts and Lee Hunt.

Hungate Greens 2, Reffley 1

After a goalless first half Greens’ Jake Chilvers got his first goal of the season from the tightest of angles and Lewis Jackson netted.

Reffley were denied by a great save by Alex Bishop. Credit to both sides in dreadful weather conditions.

UNDER 13

WSM Purples 6, Thorney 4

WSM came out in the second half 3-0 down and turned the game around, with six goals by Terry Wilmott 2, Aidan Sewell 2, Luke Foster and Sam Knott with a penalty.
